Blacksburg, Virginia, September 11, 2019 – Tickets for the New River Valley’s award-winning craft beer festival, Blacksburg Brew Do, are on sale now at both Blacksburg Kroger locations and online. The event will be held at the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center on Saturday, October 26th from noon to 5:00 p.m. (Premium ticket access begins at 11 am.) Brew Do is a rain or shine event.
This year’s event will feature over 100 beers including, but not limited to, pale ales, stouts, ambers and seasonal selections from more than 50 breweries in Virginia, the Mid-Atlantic, and beyond. Festival attendees will also receive a commemorative tasting glass and full access to festival activities, including beer seminars and homebrewing demonstrations at the Three Notch’d Brew Tent, cooking demonstrations showcasing the area’s top chef’s at the Kroger “Cooking with Beer” tent, live music, and much more.
Tickets for 15, 4-oz. tastings, are $30 in advance and $35 at the gate. Premium tasting tickets are $55 in advance and $60 at the gate, allowing ticket holders one hour early festival access to enjoy beer and food beginning at 11 a.m. These tickets also include access to the Premium Beer tent which includes 6 exclusive beer tastings not available to others, cocktail and moonshine samples from Belle Isle Craft Spirits, light snacks, and seating. ID is required for all tasting tickets.
Admission only tickets are only $10 for designated drivers and guests ages 13 to 20. Children 12 and under are free. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.
